Buffalo Chicken Wings Recipe

Tasty, tangy and saucy to the very bit, buffalo chicken wings make one fine choice for appetizer or snacks. Either way, if you wish to spice up your iftar the fun and saucy way, this buffalo chicken wings recipe is what you should try.

Ingredients cards:

For Chicken:

Chicken (wings)                            500 grams

Egg                                            1

Corn flour                                       3 tablespoons

Salt                                            1 teaspoon or to taste

Black pepper                                 1 teaspoon

Oil                                               For frying

For sauce:

Oil                                               3 tablespoons

Spring onions                                ½ cup (chop only the white part)

Fennel seeds                                ½ tablespoon

Ginger garlic paste                       1 tablespoon

Salt                                            1 teaspoon or to taste

Black pepper                                 ½ teaspoon

Red chili flakes                             1 teaspoon

Tomato ketchup                            ¾ cup

Chili garlic sauce                          ½ cup

Soya sauce                                    2 tablespoons

Vinegar                                       1 tablespoon

Sesame seeds                               ½ teaspoon

Directions:

For chicken:

Wash chicken wings thoroughly.

In a bowl beat egg, add the wings, salt, black pepper and corn flour. Mix until all the

wings are evenly covered and let it marinate for 20-30 minutes.

(Tip: For better flavor, keep the marination for longer or overnight)

Now, heat oil and fry the wings until golden brown and set aside.

(Tip: You can shallow fry or bake for a healthier version of the buffalo wings)

For sauce:

In a wok/pan, heat some oil and drop in the fennel seeds. Sauté for a minute or two and add spring onions (the white part only), salt, black pepper, ginger garlic paste and red chili flakes.

Sauté until the onion becomes soft and translucent.

Next, add tomato ketchup, chili garlic sauce, soya sauce, vinegar and mix. If the sauce becomes too thick, add little water to soften it or else there will be no sauce left to serve.

Now, add the cooked chicken wings, mix and dish out in a plate.

Top it off with chopped spring onions and serve your buffalo wings hot.

Additional information:

This buffalo chicken wings recipe is super tangy and spicy which can easily serve 2-3 people. You may opt for a baked or air fried version for healthier meal and adjust the spices according to your taste.

Ginger Peach Soda Recipe

Ginger in a drink may sound, well, not very tasty but when paired up with sour peaches, this ginger peach soda recipe will surely revitalize you.

Ingredients card:

Ginger (finely chopped)                       2 tablespoons

Peaches                                                 2 medium sized

White fizzy drink or soda                         2 liters

Mint leaves                                                 10-12

Sugar                                                          To taste

Water                                                           1 cup

Directions:

In a pan, heat a cup of water and add sugar and ginger.

When the water comes to a boil, slow down the heat and stir continuously until the sugar dissolves.

Set it aside and cover.

Sieve the water in a bowl, discard the ginger and refrigerator the sugar syrup until chilled.

Now, in serving glasses add peach slices. Press them a little to release the juices.

Add little sugar syrup and pour the soda/ fizzy drink.

Throw in some ice cubes, stir and serve.

Additional information:

This ginger peach soda recipe can easily prepare 8-10 glasses and has to serve completely chilled. It is very refreshing and healthy drink, with benefits that will help you beat the heat this summer season.
